Bill Thibeault

Well, I'm not really a band. I'm currently working as a solo artist, playing a mix of classic rock, blues and some country using both acoustic and electric guitars. I do sound like a full band though by using pre-recorded backing tracks for most of the songs. For bookings call 860-859-1388.

Uncle Flatty

Uncle Flatty is a Connecticut based five-piece Americana Alt-Country Rock outfit. Our brand of music ranges in feel from the unhinged power of Neil Ypung's electric eras to the down-homey rawness of the Gourds; from the sometimes straight ahead rock feel of Wilco to the introspective minimalism of the Velvet Underground. With instrumentation that mixes viola, harmonica, mandolin, and the occasional banjo with the usual 4 piece rock band, Uncle Flatty always brings a fresh perspective to the traditional sounds and feels of decades of American musical traditions. Lyrically and rhythmically, Uncle Flatty expresses the hope, sadness, humor, and uncertainty that lie in all of us. Uncle Flatty was formed in 2006 when 5 well traveled and widely experienced Connecticut musicians got away from the industry grind to simply and non-judgmentally create music from their souls. As it turned out, the music reached beyond the group and we realized we had tapped into something bigger - something to be shared with listeners seeking the same musical experience. Uncle Flatty has written over 30 songs in their short time together. We make the rounds back at the requisite house parties, cancer benefits and are regulars at New London"s own Bank Street Cafe. Between recording the many new songs and fighting mosquitoes in the Man Shed, putting the Flatty spin on Americana rock classics, and lugging gear, Uncle Flatty has built the chops and strength needed to bring foot stompin' good times and thoughtful melodies to the masses.

Alan Semenovich
After six years of study as a classical violinist, Alan Semenovich replaced the disciplined world of Mozart and Beethoven with a bass guitar and a newly discovered sound called "rock & roll". Following his early days as a bassist for such bands as Blank Expression, Out of the Blue, Hejl and Reign and later Destiny and Sunface, he discovered that his musical heart was in writing and performing his own brand of acoustic rock & roll. Semenovich has touched audiences with his emotionally charged acoustic performances in such venues as The Guilded Otter (New Paltz, NY), Cafe Aurora (Poughkeepsie, NY), The Flo-Jean (Port Jervis, NY), The Black Cow (Croton-On-Hudson, NY), The Annual Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Festival (Burlington, VT) The Muddy Cup (New Paltz), The Underground Lounge (NYC),Club 169 (NYC), 181 Cabrini (NYC),The Red Room (NYC), and has even played a private party for United States Senator Ben "Nighthorse" Campbell in Durango, Colorado. He's shared a stage with Pete Seeger at The Arlington Street Festival in 2003.Additionally, cuts from his 2005 CD - Caravelle Lounge Motel have received airplay on upstate New York radio stations. Notable among Semenovich's writings and performance credits are the theme song to the independent film "Due Diligence" (Living Room Theater productions) and the theme song to the children's show "Witch Way Out?" for Time Warner Cable. As far as bass playing, Alan has played shows for Commander Cody, Dallas Fisher, The Handsome Men,and recently , jazz trio...CPR.Additionally, Semenovich has consistently placed as Favorite Solo Artist in the Hudson Valley in Rhythm & News magazine's annual reader's poll. He was voted Favorite Artist to Keep an Eye Out For in 2002. Alan Semenovich is available as an acoustic act (with or without stand up bass) or as a full piece band which still maintains acoustic flavor.
